Adam Gatner comes backstage.
Cameraman: Adam, tell us how you are feeling after your first match here.
Gatner: I feel pretty good actually. I would have felt better if I had gotten the W but I'm not mad. It was my first match for SAP. Lawless had his hand raised and whether you like the man or not, he's a hell of a talent. I did however let him know who I was and what I was all about. Plain and simple I made Lawless earn that victory.
Cameraman: What's next for you?
Gatner: whatever the bosses have for me.
Cameraman: Thanks.
Gatner nods and leaves.

The cameras open up showing a long pair of legs striding along the pavement of the parking lot. The shot pans back to show Delilah. Her hair hangs off her shoulders, still tangled from the event. Her eyes look tired, but a smile rests on her face. Redemption took place tonight on "Sapling". She stops at her car and turns to the camera.
"Tonight I proved why I am SAP's best technical wrestler. All of your cheers spurred me on to victory and nothing was more satisfying than making Dunn tap to the Long Kiss Goodnight."
DJ winks and purses her lips toward the camera. As she was cutting her promo, the seductive head of the Satsujin Triad would give her a slow, sarcastic clap, as she arrived with a black dress on after hitting the showers from the night's events.
"How cute... the only part of that statement is true is that you're technically a wrestler..."
Malaya said with a bitchy tone as she folded her arms over her chest. DJ narrows her eyes as she turns toward Malaya, the woman who defeated her friends tonight.
“Maybe you weren't paying attention then."
"Oh, I was. But, then again, Cappadonna and I were too busy taking out your friends earlier tonight." She added with a spiteful tone. "And next show, I get to face you and your other buddies.”
"I think you are going to be disappointed after the next show."
DJ challenges the Triad leader.
"Oh, Delilah... don't make me have to hurt that pretty face of yours."
Malaya said, stroking her hair, not so much as flirtation, but as a mind game. DJ slaps Malaya's hand away and steps closer, getting face to face with her.
"Don't touch me again."
"Oh don't worry... I'll save it for the seventeenth. When we pin you or your girls to the mat." Malaya said with a confident air, already in her head.
"A harlot like you will not have the chance."
DJ takes a step back, then another, keeping her eyes locked on Malaya. Her backside bumps the door of her car and she stops.
"Whatever you say, DJ..."
Malaya said with a sultry voice as she stepped up to her. Delilah tries to move left. Malaya grabs her arm quickly and shoves her into the car. A metallic thud echoes in the night and DJ turns her face away. Malaya runs a finger down Delilah’s cheek and tightens her grip as she speaks softly into her ear.
I'll see you soon."
DJ grunts and makes an effort to break free, but Malaya is already backing away. Out of reach, she smirks and walks away from the camera, swaying her hips as she does so.

Cameras cut backstage to reveal “The Toku Titan!” Geki Nitoh. Off in an undisclosed area of the arena, Geki sat upon a metal folding chair, having already changed into street clothes. The way his body slouched and the look of disappointment on his features showed that he was still reeling from the events after the Sonkei Senshi versus Hellfire Club match.
“I…”
He shook his head, breathing in through his nose only to sigh out.
“I need to apologize for my actions after the match. I should have handled it differently. I know what everyone is going to say...that I did the right thing, that if I hadn't done that, Jessica could have been seriously hurt at their hands…”
His usually bright and cheerful eyes were half closed, pain showing in them as he closed them tightly.
“That doesn't change the fact that I lost control. The more I think about it, the more it tears me apart inside. The sound of the steel cracking across his head. The sight of his body collapsing to the mat. It's something I never want to go through ever again. No matter how bad things have been, I have always handled it the right way…”
Turning his head, those eyes fluttered open, trying his hardest to avoid the tears welling up in his eyes. Looking off in the distance, Geki shook his head.
“I feel like I dishonored myself by having taken that route to solve my problem. What's worse yet is the problem isn't even solved. That chair shot was nothing more than a mindless act and I assure you...I promise you...I won't take it that far ever again. That wasn't the right way to have handled that. I'm sorry..”
Without another word, Geki rose up from his seat, walking away as the scene faded to black.

Post by Noguerra on Sept 3, 2016 14:03:00 GMT -5
A raucous round of applause echoes around Northville’s Waterfront Park in the aftermath of the vicious battle between Eligio Noguerra and the ‘East Side Beast,’ Vince Steel as the cameras for Sapling’s live feed finish rolling. Despite having lost the match, Eligio had earned the respect of the SAP Wrestling crowd through his performance and just about everyone gathered at ringside (with the exception of Chris Wintermute, who remained seated at the announce table with his arms folded) was in standing ovation for the ‘Mexican Phoenix.’ He calls for a microphone and has his request granted before slowly hobbling to the middle of the ring, motioning to everyone to quiet down before preparing to address everyone that was in attendance.
“Well,” he begins, clearly struggling for breath after what he’d just been through. “I think it’s safe to say that Vince Steel just gave me the biggest battle of my career, and even though I didn’t manage to get the victory, I think I just showed everyone here just exactly what the ‘Mexican Phoenix’ is made of.”
Wincing in pain, Eligio doubles over for a second. The trainers and Paloma rush in to check on him, but Eligio just waves them away, assuring him that he’s fine. Once he manages to straighten himself back up, he moves the microphone back to his mouth to continue his speech.
“However, just as my war with Vince Steel has come to an end, it seems that I’ve now found myself involved in another war on a different front.”
Eligio turns to face the entrance area, a serious look appearing across the face of the ‘Mexican Phoenix.’
“Hellfire Club, last month you decided to storm the very first show in SAP Wrestling’s history, declaring war on us just because Ty didn’t send you an invite to the party. This month, you decided to try and up the ante by bringing in another one of your soldiers from WCS to join the battle. You thought you’d be able to jump us again, but the thing about the element of surprise is that it only ever works once. Fool us once, shame on you. But fool us twice? Well, you know how that one goes...”
“After last month, I knew you pendejos were probably going to try something screwy, so I made sure I was ready to jump in at the first sign of trouble. After watching what you pendejos did to two of my friends at Pilot Light, there was no way I was going to stand by tonight and watch you try to tear apart what we’ve started here. There was no way I was going to let you try and trample our sapling.”
“You see, as long as my heart is beating and as long as I am able to draw breath then I will stand to defend this company from you perros. Because this man right here...” he pauses, pointing towards Ty Buchbinder. “...was kind enough to give me an opportunity when no one else would. He gave me a place to continue to ply my craft after I was unmasked and barred from wrestling in Mexico ever again. For that, I can’t thank him enough, and the least I can do to repay him is to help protect this company from the likes of you.”
“So let it be known that from here on out, Eligio Noguerra is joining the war against the Hellfire Club; and believe me, chicos, if there’s one thing I’ve proven here tonight it’s that I’m full of nothing but fighting spirit, so you best believe that the ‘Mexican Phoenix’ is more than ready to rise up to the occasion.”
“You wanted a war? Well, you’ve got it, perros.”
Eligio drops the mic, and immediately begins to acknowledge the pain he’d been trying to suppress throughout his speech. The trainers and Paloma once again rush into check on Eligio as the scene fades out.
