INT. KORAKUEN HALL - BUNKYO, TOKYO, JAPAN - JAN 31ST, 2018
I feel like I let everyone down
Gets tweeted out by Trixie as she sits on the crate in the back after headlining Welcome to Japan Night One. Honoured to be given that opportunity but disappointed to be the loser in the exchange with an ice pack on her leg with some bruising developing.
The Prime Girl wallows a little in the loss, feeling her chance to prove herself has slipped away as the fourth CWC defeat stacked on her instead of the glory of her first win being a huge title victory, bringing her to a point of almost tears if not for a familiar voice ringing in her ear.
Male Voice:
"What the fuck are you doing?"
"What the fuck are you doing?"
Trixie turns to her left where the voice was coming from to see her trainer whom she hadn't seen in a long time before her. A large afro with a bandana like scarf around his neck in an incredibly dark brown jacket over a black t-shirt and jeans with white loafers on.
TRIXIE:
"What are you doing here, Jackie?"
"What are you doing here, Jackie?"
She replies with a bit of shock riddled on her face. Wondering why he was here.
Jackie:
"One of my students was fighting for a damn territory wide prize, I ain't fucking watching that on some shitty stream."
"One of my students was fighting for a damn territory wide prize, I ain't fucking watching that on some shitty stream."
Trixie turns her gaze to the wall she'd been looking at before he showed up, shrugging with a false smile.
TRIXIE:
"Well, you go to see me fail live then."
"Well, you go to see me fail live then."
And her smile fades down, with a sigh.
Jackie:
"Are you kidding me right now? Code fucking fourteen, Trixie."
"Are you kidding me right now? Code fucking fourteen, Trixie."
She doesn't reply and receives a kick to her leg stretched out, completely knocking it off the stool she was resting it on and the ice pack to the floor. Trixie slightly strains and holds her leg.
Jackie:
"Code fourteen, when shit goes wrong, you don't sing a sad song."
"Code fourteen, when shit goes wrong, you don't sing a sad song."
One of his many codes to pro wrestling, all psychological codes to follow in the business. This code meaning he never wanted his students to waste a second in the business wallowing, not because it showed weakness or vulnerability but because he lectured about longevity of a wrestler and the more time you spent feeling sorry for yourself meant less time to spend in the ring, living the dream. He was one of the big reasons Trixie fell into the business and took as many dates as she could allow.
This memory of his passion for the business does brighten Trixie up, remembering it fondly how he told each student following his own loss in Michigan.
Jackie:
"One day, and one day soon. Some basket case will be sitting right there after they fucked up and lost to the Prime Girl. Maybe they'll quit, who needs 'em? You're not that, I didn't my time and effort for a basket case. So stand the fuck up."

Trixie, scowling, abides and puts pressure on her leg which did ache after her match.
TRIXIE:
"I'm not a basket case."
"I'm not a basket case."
Jackie:
"You sure about that, Jugs?"
"You sure about that, Jugs?"
The demeaning name she got while a student in the school. Everyone got one and everyone strived to be at a level he referred to them by how their true name. He looks at Trixie crossing his arms with his brow down, very unimpressed. She gives him a stern look back
TRIXIE:
"No I'm not. I want to be a winner in CWC."
"No I'm not. I want to be a winner in CWC."
Jackie:
"I don't believe you."
"I don't believe you."
The challenging part of him. He made sure students were vocal and challenged them vocally. Physically capable in the ring and challenged them physically.
TRIXIE:
"I do. I've spent two years in this business and I'm not going to quit."
"I do. I've spent two years in this business and I'm not going to quit."
She then began to poke her trainer in the chest with her finger
TRIXIE:
"Come Ignition, come Legacy. Vegas and Japan will see how hungry I am. I'm sick of being so close but no cigar. I got a glimpse of that CWC Junior Heavyweight title and I'm coming for it. I've had more matches than most have last year with how much hardwork and sacrifice I made for this business. Don't believe?"

TRIXIE:

"Watch"

Shoulder checking her trainer as hard as she could to make him swing to the side despite having a good few pounds on her. Trixie walks her way off to collect her things and head to the hotel.

Seeing the supportive messages on social media and smiles. First going to Manny.
TRIXIE:
(REPLYING ON HER PHONE)
"Thank you, Manny that would be great"
(REPLYING ON HER PHONE)
"Thank you, Manny that would be great"
And scrolls down her notifications to Zombie.
TRIXIE:
(REPLYING ON HER PHONE)
"Thank you, Zombie."
(REPLYING ON HER PHONE)
"Thank you, Zombie."
Before she scrolls back up to Jack to reply to him.
TRIXIE:
(REPLYING ON HER PHONE)
"Thank you, Jack, I'll try."
(REPLYING ON HER PHONE)
"Thank you, Jack, I'll try."
And so on, finding herself uplifted by the support of her friends as she replies to each one reaching out to her. Determined before....but with all this support, she wasn't never alone in her journey.
