Barbara Strong is shown backstage as she is standing outside of an office. The camera moves up to show the name ‘Mr. Avery Quinn’ on the nameplate.
Barbara Strong: Here we go
Barbara knocks quietly before opening the door. Her boss, Avery Quinn, was sitting at his desk with a single paper in front of him on his desk and a thick stack of documents next to him. He looks up, but doesn’t show much emotion either way as Barbara walks closer to the desk.
Barbara Strong: Heyyyy Mr. Quinn, you wanted to see me?
Her tone of voice was a bit over the top, it was clear she was trying to get what she wanted, or stay on the boss’s good side as she helps herself to the chair on the opposite side of the desk that the bossman was sitting at.
Barbara Strong: So is this in reference to what we discussed on social media after that tragedy that befell me at the last show?
Avery adjusted his glasses as he took a breath. He sunk back into his chair as he made direct eye contact with Barbara.
Avery Quinn: So you’re still saying that what happened was a tragedy?
Barbara Strong: Well, it was enough for me to part ways with my legendary trainer and manager, Kelly Richards, who clearly decided to go rogue after Serena, Selena, you know THAT girl decided to play dirty.
Barbara reaches into the jacket of her bright pink hoodie and pulls out a paper. She comedically unfolds it numerous times as it was long enough to reach the floor. She slides it sloppily onto the desk of her boss and points a manicured finger at one of the names.
Barbara Strong: This is a list, rather a petition, and fans are demanding my re-entry into the Keystone Cup. Now, I know you said that wasn’t happening, but you seem like a….
She pauses and changes her tone to a more sultry, convincing one.
Barbara Strong: Reasonable, fair man, and I just HAD to show you this list. Look at all the names on it! The fans want to see Gold around the waist of Barbara Strong! What can I say?
Avery looks down at the list and studies it for a moment before looking back at Barbara.
Avery Quinn: You do realize that there are some names that appear on this paper more than once right?
Avery slides it back across the desk to Barbara Strong picks it up and squints as she examines it closely before her cheeks flush a bit.
Barbara Strong: Oh, yeah..of course. I mean Dennis Damennis and Eida Toldja are big fans of mine! They believe so strongly in this injustice that they wanted to sign it a few…hundred times….but hey, you’re reasonable, remember? That animal thinks she’s going to wrestle me but she’s dead wrong because I’m going back into the Keystone Cup where I belong. Right?
She reaches across the desk and holds her hand up for a high five with a big smile on her beautiful face.
Avery doesn’t even move. Instead he just looks at Barbara almost as if she has to be joking.
Avery Quinn: Miss Strong, do you know what I did before I became an executive in wrestling companies?
Barbara slowly pulls her hand back into her lap.
Barbara Strong: I don’t, actually. But I would LOVE to hear all about it! I just love talking to you, boss!
Avery lets out a small chuckle knowing she’s trying to pander to him.
Avery Quinn: Well Miss Strong, I was a wrestler just like you. I wrestled for over twenty years. What you’re doing right now? I’ve done it. I’ve worked and weaseled my way into plenty of places and opportunities. I know all the ways to work the verbiage to get where you want to be and to get what you want. I know what you’re doing. Which is exactly why it’s not working like you want it too. Now I understand that you’re looking out for your best interests and I will admit I respect that. At the same time I also understand that you are trying to use wrestling as a platform to push yourself forward into other markets as well which makes me question your devotion to not only this sport but this company as well. How do I know that you won’t disappear tomorrow if a better opportunity comes your way? You preach all the time what you mean to this company but I’m not entirely sure what you value more, your appeal as a television star or your desire to be here with us.
Avery leaned across the table and gave Barbara a pressing glance. If you look close enough, you can probably see the beads of sweat beginning to form on the rookie’s face as she swallows deeply and then tries her best to play it cool.
Barbara Strong: You’re right, I do aim a bit higher than simply being a star in wrestling. As you know, executives from the biggest networks in the world want me for their reality show. They see dollar signs, and you should too, but if you doubt my commitment to this company, look no further than what happened after my last match. I was royally cheated, and I was pinned. Now, most people in my shoes would have hid their face and ran from the ring in shame, but what did I do? I showed exactly how much it meant to me by going to social media to address the fans, this company, and the injustice of what happened. If I wasn’t committed, I would have simply texted my resignation and moved on. Instead, I showed the heart and fire that so many lack, and I personally asked for re-entry into the Keystone Cup because I truly believe I’m the champion for this company. The woman who can take SAP to new heights, and yes, we’re a cult favorite, but I simply want us to be THE FAVORITE.
Avery Quinn: SAP is a niche company. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Honestly with there being what feels like a million promotions out there it’s more important to try and set yourself apart. I will admit that you do help us in that. I also appreciate the fire that you have but I also am aware that it’s to make sure that the eyes are all on you. Now you say you want to be the champion. You’re not the only one. It’s the aim of everyone who walks through the doors. However if you can win your match tonight then at our supershow in three weeks you will be placed in a number one contenders match for the National championship.
Barbara raises an eyebrow and runs her hands together with a grin on her face. Avery even has a slight smile of his own.
Barbara Strong: Defeat Junior Valero tonight and qualify for the supershow and a number one contenders match? Done. But PLEEEEASE tell me it’s against ONE PERSON! I’ve had the worst string of opponents, and now that I have the cheaters, losers, and jealous Janice’s behind me, I’d love to know my opponent!
Avery now lets out a smile as he sits back in his chair.
Avery Quinn: Yes Miss Strong this time you will only have to face one opponent if you win tonight. That person will also have to win theirs, but if they do then you and Serenity Holmes will meet one on one in three weeks.
Avery put his hands together and eagerly awaited her reaction.
Barbara Strong: N…n…no….not her. Anyone but her.
Strong stands from her chair and then places both hands on his desk as she leans her face closer to his.
Barbara Strong: Not only have I already faced her, but she CHEATED me out of the Keystone Cup! She asked for a match with me and she got it, why does EVERYONE get what they want besides me? This isn’t fair, and if you don’t change your mind then I….I’ll….
Thinking better of finishing that statement, she back tracks.
Barbara Strong: You know what? Fine. I’ll beat Junior Valeto, and then I’ll beat Serenity Holmes, IF she can win her match. I have a funny feeling it’s going to be a difficult road there for her…am I excused?
Avery Quinn: Both of you were affected negatively in your last match together. It seems to only make sense in this light to let you two settle it in a more direct manner. Also when it comes to your statement of you never getting what you want. How about this, if both of you win tonight then the person who wins their match faster gets to choose the stipulation to the match. How does that sound?
Barbara Strong: Now THAT is fair! Thank you!
The door opens without even a knock as three men in suits walk in and point at their expensive watches on their wrists at the same time. Barbara mouths ‘sorry’ to them and then turns back to Avery Quinn.
Barbara Strong: I have some stuff to shoot for my reality show before my match, but thank you Mr. Quinn. You won’t regret this!
Barbara was all smiles now as she walks towards the men in the suits who let her walk between them before they close the gap between her and her boss and escort her out of the office.

ARCADe vs. Betty Yung
ARCADe hit the ground quick and used speed to his advantage to tag Betty early. That was until she caught him with a nasty powerslam. From there Betty used her strength to batter ARCADe all over the ring but he wasn’t going to go down without a fight. He was able to trip up Betty and get to the ropes to land a springboard moonsault that got oohs and ahhs from the crowd. All this seemed to do however was piss Betty off. Once back to their feet Betty landed a spinning back fist that looked like it made ARCADe’s soul leave his body. However when she went for the cover ARCADe quickly wrapped her up in a small package and got the surprise 3 count.
Winner: ARCADe

“Classy” Bianca Page is getting out of the backseat of a 2022 Black Escalade. After she gets out her driver shuts the door behind her. The driver picks up Bianca’s bags as the begin to walk towards the Bream Gym.
“Classy” Bianca Page: Normally a debut match with a new company is about setting in motion a precedent of what is to come but that is not entirely the case tonight. While it is true I am going to show not only the wrestling world but everyone in the SAP locker room and SAP management that I am SAP's one true star. The one that will be the flagship of SAP and the person who will take the SAP National Heavyweight title to new heights that it has never seen before.
Bianca has a smug smile on her face.
“Classy” Bianca Page: Tonight is about so much more than that. Tonight is about retribution. By now the wrestling world knows that Malaya and I have a bit of an unsavory past. Malaya took it upon herself to befriend my sister, Vanessa, and while Vanessa believed she had a genuine friendship with Malaya I knew better. When my sisters and I signed with NFW last year Vanessa introduced us to Malaya. I could tell right away the type of woman Malaya truly is. That of someone who lies to your face as they stick a knife in your back. Initially Vanessa didn’t want to hear my suspicions about Malaya while our other sister Danielle was caught in the middle. For several weeks that turned into several months the sisterly bond that Vanessa and I share was strained due to Malaya’s deceitful ways. Luckily after several months by the grace of all things holy, Vanessa’s eyes became wide open and she saw how evil Malaya is. Malaya would sneak to new lows with her partner in crime, Cassie. They lied, cheated, stole victories over my sisters and I. They got out of 2021 unscaved. Tonight as we enter the Bream Gym in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Malaya and I will do battle that this town hasn’t seen in 159 years since 1863. Our battle of 2022 will be much different than those of last year, Malaya. You don’t have your little buddy fighting your battle for you. Tonight is just me against you one on one and me being the better woman will walk out with the win as I lay my claim to being the best SAP has ever seen.
Bianca walks away as she is followed by her driver.

Malaya Diyosa vs. Bianca Page
There was no love loss here and once the bell rang the fists were flying. Malaya looked to gain the upper hand but was quickly caught off guard with a knee to the gut followed by a scissor kick that sent her to the mat hard. Bianca was making it clear she was here to send a message but Malaya didn’t want to be the one she sent it through and was kicking and screaming the whole way. Malaya was able to connect with a thrust kick and followed it with a double knee arm breaker. From here Malaya had a game plan and it was targeting the arm of Page which she was doing well. Bianca now found herself fighting off Malaya while trying to mount an offense one handed. Page then used her length to her advantage and nailed Diyosa with her “Swanky” Superkick that stunned Malaya and Bianca struck fast with her “Lavish Lifestyle” (Blockbuster) to pick up the three count.
Winner: Bianca Page

“Alright, fuckos?”
Backstage for another visit to Scott Dunn. He’s in the parking lot, leaning against a car.
“Aye, Scotty here and I’m here in this famous place of yours, Gettysburg. Even the Brit over here knows of this place, known for a good war ain’t it? That’s good, ‘cause tonight’s gonna be another war.”
He smirks, looking smug as usual.
“Shame then, that I gotta face Dylan Shepherd, eh? Let’s look at his time here in SAP so far. First match here, he loses to that piratey bellend Samuels. Second here he wins, thanks to Luca’s balls tucking in and his weak ass ran the hell away. Hardly inspiring, is it? Nah, he would have been 0-2 if he’d faced anyone with guts last show out. Tonight he does, he faces me.”
He points to himself, both thumbs.
“Ain’t gonna be no walking out from me, let me tell you. I’m here for a scrap and I’m here for a good time. You better not fucking flop, Shephard.”
An eyeroll follows that, skepticism clear.
“Or do, and I’ll just paste your sorry ass. Either way, son, you ain’t about to have a good night.”

Dylan Shepherd vs. Scott Dunn
The two met in the middle of the ring and Dunn took this time to mouth off to Shepherd who looked like he could care less. Then Scotty took this as a time to show off his physique and flexed his biceps which left him wide open as Dylan nailed him with a headbutt that sent him stumbling back into the ropes. Shepherd then went for a running jumping knee but Dunn saw him coming and was pissed so he flipped him up and over the top rope to the outside. Dunn went out after him which probably wasn’t the best idea as he was now in Dylan’s backyard. Scotty landed some clubs to the back of Shepherd but Dylan then rammed him into the ring apron. Dunn cringed when his back hit the ring and Dylan landed a few shots before Dunn managed to grab him and throw him into the ring post. Shepherd shook it off and came right back at Dunn who saw him coming and grabbed hold of him and spun him around and hurled him shoulder first into the ring steps. Dunn rolled back into the ring and the fans helped Shepherd back up and back into the ring. Dylan was doing his best to fight off Dunn but the big man just kept going after that shoulder. Dunn hit a big shoulder breaker that really had Shepherd rolling around in pain and from there Dylan was practically fighting with one arm. Dylan put up a fight but it was only a matter of time when Dunn got hold of him and connected with “Over and Dunn” (package piledriver) for the three count.
Winner: Scotty Dunn

“Are you sure we’re allowed to be here…?”
Two ladies explore one of the hallways lined with designated locker rooms. One of them is the easily recognizable model Ryleigh Dixon, the youngest of the Dixon siblings. The other one is younger and a little shorter, but she’s not recognized by many. Both of them are wearing nice spring-themed dresses for this occasion. Ryleigh looks at her and smiles.
RYLEIGH DIXON: It’s fine, Little Serena!
SERENITY WILLIAMS: Well… okay. If you say so, Aunt Rylee.
Ryleigh smiles and finally stops in front of one of the locker rooms. The door is closed, but the nameplate reads JUNIOR VALERO. A mischievous grin crosses her face.
RYLEIGH DIXON: Are you ready?
SERENITY WILLIAMS: Um… no, not really. What if he doesn’t like me?
RYLEIGH DIXON: Pshaw! He will!
Without warning, the Crown Jewel of the Dixon Family knocks on the door thrice. Before her youngest niece can react, she steps away from the door. Little Serena is shocked and bewildered.
SERENITY WILLIAMS: A-Aunt Rylee! I… oh, dear, should I just… stand here and wait?
Before the high schooler can react, the door begins to open!
JUNIOR VALERO: Hello?
The heir to the Valero wrestling legacy peeks out from behind the door with haste. His face illuminates in the hallway light, however, and a massive grin replaces a look of uncertainty as his eyes lay on the two women in front of him.
JUNIOR
VALERO: Oh God, I’m so sorry!
He throws the door open and greets his visitors.
JUNIOR VALERO: If there’s anything I’ve learned over the years watching my dad, you, unfortunately, need to always be on your toes in this business! I can’t believe you’re here, Serena!
His greeting hangs in the air for a moment until he remembers another person is present.
JUNIOR VALERO: And you too, Ryleigh, hello!
A playful giggle escapes the nearly forgotten woman.
RYLEIGH DIXON: Hey, kiddo. I hope you like your surprise.
The youngest Dixon sibling moves forward and looks between the two of them.
RYLEIGH DIXON: Awww… Little Serena and Little Richie. Together at last!
A bright red blush surfaces on Serenity’s cheeks. She folds her hands behind her back and lightly toe-kicks the floor.
SERENITY WILLIAMS: A-Aunt Rylee, I should’ve known you’d do something like this.
Softly nibbling on her lower lip, Serenity looks up at Junior with a sweet shyness.
JUNIOR VALERO: I mean…I’m glad she did.
Junior flashes her an all-too-familiar smirk.
JUNIOR VALERO: I’ve really been looking forward to meeting you…I’m glad you’re here to watch me do what I love to do!
That smirk! Oh, if Serenity could melt… The daughter of Jack Williams and Gwendolyn Dixon is not often this shy, but Junior is tall and handsome. He’s definitely the son of “Pretty” Ricky Valero.
SERENITY WILLIAMS: I-I’m happy to be here. Good luck in your match tonight. I’ll be cheering you on!
Her aunt smiles at the two and brings them closer together with her arms, engaging in a group hug. This rests the small lady’s head against his chest!
RYLEIGH DIXON: You two are so cute! After the show, let’s go out to dinner. My treat.
Now Junior’s the one feeling a little awkward, nervously fidgeting as Ryleigh brings them all together. He smiles still.
JUNIOR VALERO: I like the sound of that! If all goes right tonight, hopefully we’ll be having ourselves a victory celebration!
The rookie laughs nervously, acknowledging his recent hardships since making his pro debut in Mexico last month. The sixteen-year-old high schooler smiles a little. She raises her head to look up at him once more.
SERENITY WILLIAMS: I know we just met, but… I believe in you.
The teenagers smile at each other. The British model giggles at them before she steps aside.
RYLEIGH DIXON: Alright, kiddo. We’re going to find our seats. Kick some ass!
JUNIOR VALERO: I will!
He sees the ladies off with a big grin on his face before the camera changes perspective.

Jessica Matthews vs. Gregory Howlett
The bell rang and the two locked up but Howlett quickly broke it to drive a knee into the gut of Matthews followed by a gutwrench suplex. He went for a quick cover but that wasn’t enough to stop the paladin. Howlett went for a knee drop but Jess rolled out of the way and caught Greg in the head with a kick. This became a battle of strength versus speed. Matthews went for her “Dixon Arrow” (Stylin DDT) but Howlett caught her and delivered a massive running powerslam. He went for another cover but only got a two count. Greg then went for an overhead belly to belly but to everyone’s surprise Matthews rolled through on the landing and got to her feet. When Howlett got back to his feet he was greeted with a Pele kick. This time Jess went for another “Dixon Arrow” and landed it. From there it was up to the top and she connected with her “Silver Moon Shockwave” (630 cannonball senton) to get the three count.
Winner: Jessica Matthews

Freddie Florentino vs. Petra Vasquez
The bell rang and Freddie darted from his corner taking Petra down with a sling blade. He wasted no time as he hiked her up for "Aflicción Final"
(Pumphandle Half Nelson Driver) and nailed it clean. He then made the cover and got the three count in one of SAP’s quickest matches ever.
Winner: Freddie Florentino

Rampage. The uncomfortable environment that followed behind Serenity's rage after the recent tun of events from the shows of SAP Wrestling. All week the disgruntled athlete has been begging management to allow her to repay the debt that was owed to her by Barbara Strong but in her absence of judgment, she's turned to be more violent than ever. The audience has been in support of her strong-willed mindset to bring the fight to possibly the most hated person on the roster and Serenity gladly accepted that role. On the other hand, tonight was no different being the one to look for justice again.
Serenity Holmes: "Where is she?!"
The powerful battle cry for Barbara designated down the hallways as a warning for all to remove themselves from her path. She stormed down in her rage-fueled march interrogating all who came across her, barging into multiple rooms, invading the personal spaces of others to find where her enemy lay. Although her match was near, her focus was bringing destruction to the woman who helped cost her a chance to advance in the Keystone Cup.
Serenity Holmes: "Come on Barbara, I know you're hiding somewhere! Come out so we can settle this and I can kick your ass!"
Unfortunately for Serenity, there was no response. She was alone and the audience was not happy being the surveyors of her environment reaching a futile decision. In a quick reaction, the raw emotion of anger warmed her better judgment as she took a table and flipped it over causing damage to the contents. Serenity's heavy breathing and infuriated eyes snapped to Aleks Parker coming into the scenery without caution.
Serenity Holmes: "What the hell do you want?!"
The sudden outburst shook Aleks posture to a submissive demeanor. There was a moment of silence for a few seconds until Aleks kept the professional tone to the emotional client.
Aleks Parker: "Serenity, there's no doubt that you've been on a tearing rampage at another opportunity to face Barbara Strong since you guys last faced in the quarterfinal rounds of the Keystone Cup. Why are you so determined to face her?"
Of course, Serenity couldn't fathom why Aleks was asking her the obvious question but she took pride in answering the question anyway.
Serenity Holmes: "Why? It's what happened in the match. She's a coward! She's so used to getting everything she wants, she craves attention and when she doesn't get it, she'll do whatever she can to diminish everyone around her. Barbara is a master manipulator who doesn't care about anyone but herself and a perfect example are when she fired Kelly because she couldn't get the win. May I remind you that it wasn't me who suffered getting pinned, it was her after her little scheme failed. I'm going to find her and put an end to her so that we'll never have to put up with a disparaging piece of shit like her!"
The audience of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, was in a praising uproar from that statement. Serenity's confidence and determination were at an all-time high on the crusade to face Barbara but Aleks had to draw the attention away to what was coming to her in the next few moments.
Aleks Parker: "But that leaves another question, you have an upcoming match against Claire Lichfield who has had some back and forth with you on Twitter-"
Serenity Holmes: "I'll stop you right there."
Serenity looked into her eyes of Aleks and smirked.
Serenity Holmes: "I know what you're going to ask. No, I haven't forgotten about Claire because she's going to play an important role tonight in Pennsylvania. If Barbara is hiding, that means she's watching me and she'll be watching my match. Claire is absolutely nothing relevant nor anything of worth in SAP Wrestling. Of course, she couldn't make it past the opening rounds of the Keystone Cup and she managed to defeat Alexis Lemon who left the company after two losses. Although she might look like me, she'll never be me. Claire is just another woman who makes the same excuse for me and it's different here. I am the legacy of SAP. I'm the future generation of this company so I'll take this microphone from you as I politely ask to have the floor."
Aleks obliged and handed the microphone to Serenity before disappearing from the broadcast view of the camera. In a slow walk toward the camera, Serenity held the microphone under her chin and had a very distinct yet intimidating glare for all the world to see. Her posture upright, the tone of fury and pain in her voice, she was ready to cause hell.
Serenity Holmes: "Hello Claire. All the talk we had is now coming to an end because the action is what's next. I said I would make an example out of you and you came with the most pathetic excuses. It's quite ironic that the ones who talk the most don't have much to say when it's thrown back at them. You've had opportunities to make yourself known but with everything you've done in SAP Wrestling, I'm not impressed. We're not impressed. You've made comments about my employment in Action Wrestling and even went as far to mention my father who has held multiple championships here but at the end of the day, thank you for acknowledging I had an active father in my life when yours wasn't even man enough to hang around for long!"
That warranted a nasty reaction from the audience and Serenity took a moment to stop herself from bursting out into laughter. She gathered herself and continued with her verbal lashing.
Serenity Holmes: "Claire, you're going to be used and abused by me. I'm going to hurt you for the sake of sending a message to Barbara Strong. You're nothing more than a pawn in this game of cat and mouse; You might feel different but reality doesn't care about you. I don't care about you. I'm going to break every bone in your body and then send you packing to whatever rock you were thrown under from birth. And as for Barbara, keep hiding. I'll find you eventually..."
She slammed the microphone against the camera lens which forced the cameraman to fall backward. The last shot was Serenity marching ahead to her match before the segment transitioned to the next upcoming production.

Barbara Strong vs. Junior Valero
The bell rang and Valero came out looking to lock up. When he attempted it he got a thumb to the eye for his trouble. As Junior put his palm to his eye Barb was quick to grab him by the hair and whip him down to the mat hard. She quickly put the young Valero in a Boston crab. Junior wasn’t going to go out like that and pulled himself to the ropes where the ref called for a break but Barb turned around to lay some heavy stomps to the back of Valero. Junior used the ropes to pull himself up in the corner. Strong then came in looking for a corner splash but Valero moved out of the way. Barb came stumbling out of the corner and Junior sprinted for the ropes and hit a springboard corkscrew plancha. He went for a cover but only got a one count. The two got back to their feet and Junior took a wild swing and spun all the way around to get another thumb to the eye followed by “Too Hot For TV” (Snap brainbuster). Barb nonchalantly laid back over Valero and got the three count.
Winner: Barbara Strong

We cut backstage where Lexie Smith. Her hair now tied in a combative ponytail which she fastens tight to keep her hair out of her face. She's got light eyeliner on, shadowy eyes decorated to draw attention to her eyes. Both fists are taped up in black wrist tape to match her trunks and boots. Her top a calm, washed Irish green with her name on the back. She'd designed it to look like a hybrid between a football jersey and a sleeveless top for full movement. On the front of this top is the SAP Logo with a thick black outline so it draws attention to what team she's representing.
Behind Lexie is the gym's wall. Two of the basketball players were kind enough to hold up Lexie's poster board some of the students had collaborated on. Two shield shaped designs with a strong splash of yellow for Lexie's signs. Then, one shyer guy puts a Lex vs Lexie sign on frame to the right of Ms. Smith.
Lexie Smith: So it's Lex vs Lexie.
Lexie pauses, refusing to refer to the match as Lex vs Lex, before she clears her throat to continue.
Lexie Smith: His little promo package aired right before our match. Congratulations on your latest signing to Blacklist Wrestling by the way. I'm not sure how many places that is now. Mainstream, the one I just mentioned, back to five boroughs. You're going to be a busy Spirit And Pride wrestler.
Lexie says, while the student behind her flips a Lexie shield. On the other half it says Spirit and Pride. Underneath Smith and Pride, quoting Lexie's last name.
Lexie: Merci Beaucoup, Francis….So many bookings, where my deal here, as I said last time I was here, is exclusive. I could pop up here, there, and elsewhere and divide my focus, my attention and my time to a variety of places. That's what you want to do, you go guy.
Lexie emphastically gives that arm pump. The two players add a little "woo" in the same manner Lexie said "you go guy", which she lightly chuckles to. She then cringes to close one eye and shakes her head.
Lexie Smith: It's just not for me. My sole focus is Spirit and Pride. I've proven I can handle myself one on one, with extra players.
Lexie opens her hands up to gesture to the people behind her. Hinting at the triple threats they both took on last show. Next, the other Lexie shield flips to show Lexie's tournament ratio: Never eliminated cleanly is written on it in cursive.
Lexie Smith: I've historically done very well in tournaments. This is a little leçon d'histoire (history lesson) you won't know.
Lexie underlines that small sentence fragment with her right hand, kneeling slightly to do so, before standing back up to continue without too much interruption.
Lexie Smith: In fact it's through jealous & nefarious means that someone gets involved in my match to remove me from a tournament. That's just how good I am. I stay focused.
That's when Lexie has the students open the shields when she snaps both fingers. We see the Lexie support again, the Spirit and Pride/Smith and Pride along with the sentence. The boys flip those shields over and we see little snapshots. On the shield board which had spirit and pride, the moment Lex won his past SAP matches. On the tournament with Lexie's sentence referring to outside SAP stuff thematically has Lex's 5 Boroughss signing pic and his recent appearance on Mainstream
Lexie Smith: So I've watched all you've done outside this tournament, and I paid special attention to the matches where this Keystone Cup is a key tagline. Those tres important matches. I'm excited to show our SAP fans that this girl can defeat the wanderer. I really am. Because there's two matches left.
Lexie holds up two fingers now. Shutting her eyes and exhales slowly.
Lexie Smith: Two matches to win it. I want that. I want that more than anybody. I'm certain you'll have other accolades in your other places. But here, in this company with it's unique, clever show names, not happening. Maybe if you had drawn Samuels or Salem, we'd meet one match later. We didn't. We're here in Gettysburg and I'm getting that cup. Watch Me.
Lexie ends as the camera pans out to the rest of the team chanting those last two words while she walks off. They transfer to just cheering and waving the Lexie shield shaped sign towards the camera before it cuts to commercial.

Serenity Holmes vs. Claire Lichfield
The bell rang and these two stood nose to nose in the middle of the ring exchanging some words to each other. Claire then goes for a roundhouse kick but Serenity throws an arm up to block it and then connects with a spinning back elbow that catches Claire and sends her stumbling back. Holmes went running forward looking for a lariat but Lichfield ducked it and hooked her arm transitioning her so that she could connect with a double arm suplex. Claire floated over and quickly tried to get a double wrist lock but Holmes was able to twist her body and hooked the bottom rope with her foot. The match then turned into a cat and mouse game. Serenity trying to get her strikes on Claire without being caught in her web for submissions. The arm was still Claire’s target as she was able to come though with “Neskowin” (Hammerlock Lungblower). A few minutes later after some more back and forth Litchfield got Holmes in “Vorvolaka” (Rope Hanging Armbar). The ref called for a break and Claire complied. Holmes took some steps back grabbing at her arm. Claire slid back into the ring by a corner but didn’t see Holmes rushing in to hit her with a big yazuza kick. Holmes then climbed to the top rope and waited for Claire to start to get up to land "Red Bottoms" (Diving Double Foot Stomp to back of the opponent's head). Serenity made the cover and got the three count.
Winner: Serenity Holmes

There's the familiar sound of the tab on a carbonated beverage being popped, that immediate escape of carbon dioxide making that little hiss that almost evokes the Pavlovian thirst. There's a muffled slurp and then the video resolves from the grainy gloom to show Lex Collins sitting on one of the equipment crates, a can of Pepsi in his hand. He takes another drink before setting it aside, raking a hand through his hair to smooth those unruly strands back out of his face. A rueful chuckle passes his lips as he glances down at the soda can beside him.
LEX COLLINS: I ain't the greatest with the metaphors, I'll admit that… and after seeing you make it this far, I guess I should have more of an idea what it means t'be facing down the 'strawberry slushy' herself this week. But hey, here we are – about as diametrically opposed as two people in this common ground loony bin of pro wrestling can get. On paper, it's a fuckin' banger. A shooter, a striker, someone who's just as deadly on the canvas as I am. Yeah, it looks good. Then you take into account the dearth of experience – fucks that all to hell. We're less'n seven months off my 20-year anniversary in the business. Jesus, that's just…
He trails off, shaking his head.
LEX COLLINS: I never aspired to be the kinda guy they write stories about. Mean, Rocky IV is one of my favorite movies 'cause I could identify. Watched Rocky come up, this scrappy underdog nobody believed in at first. I saw that one first, came into the series all sideways, ass-backwards and it made me long to see that first one, to see where he came from and now when I'm feeling low, when I need that kick in the ass, I throw the movie on from the halfway point. There's a lot of appeal in being the scrappy underdog – unbelievably satisfaction when you come out on top from that position. So, I don't envy you this moment. I've been there. Like Stallone, made a pretty good livin' off telling that tale a few times over the years. The underdog, the perennial loser. Oh, I know… you pull up the stats now and it don't read like that for me. All these streaks, all these championships picked up along the way like rest stop souvenirs gathering dust on shelves. Longest was 10-0 back ten years ago. Come close a few times since, never surpassed – that's my glass ceiling, I guess.
He reaches for that soda can and takes a swig, a wry smile on his lips before he swipes the back of his wrist against his mouth.
LEX COLLINS: You don't gotta tell me how much you want this, though. You made it this far – kinda speaks for itself. I never really answered the question as to why I'm here, why I came back when I'd put a lot of distance between myself and the way these fights used to make me feel. My trainer, back when I started, he called me something that served as a sort of definition… some bullshit blanket term that fit loosely enough so I didn't have to dig deeper – called me a 'damage sponge'. Said I could draw the wrath easy enough, and I could take it, too. Soak it all up… hold my own more'n expected for a scrawny guy who despite how much time he spends in the gym, just doesn't get any bulkier. Guess that's what I wanna impress here, if you haven't figured it out yet from watchin' back the last couple shows: I don't stay down. Getting back up, that's a fuckin' instinct, as automatic as breathing. This ain't no rebellion anymore… and maybe I should fess up 'cause that's how it started. Wasn't a survival song then. Was more childish, thumbing my nose and blowing raspberries at the world that had convinced me I was unwelcome and unwanted by the time I was seventeen.
A slow breath is pulled in as he tilts his head back, resting it against the wall before exhaling slowly.
LEX COLLINS: I know the aspiration's natural. Climbing the ladder of success, I mean. Nobody wants to tread water, repeating the same futile motions over and over. We all wanna see our names on the marquee, reach that coveted Main Event spot where the big bucks're made, like one day you'll be at Times Square and see yourself up on one of those electronic billboards, huge and untouchable like a God 'cause what comes after looks good too, on paper. Endorsement deals. More money. More airtime. Guaranteed pay. Being name-dropped in industry rags and backstage conversations with that little hint of fearful respect. I don't wanna be that cautionary tale, though – ain't tryna rain on the parade, even if that's how it kinda comes off. I want you to have that, Lexie, I do. Hell, anyone who's put in the work deserves that shine. Guess I just wanna make sure you know all the prep work you've done to make it here, it ain't gonna do a damned thing to mentally prepare you for what happens when you finally reach that summit. Ain't nothing like that high. Turns the best of us into nothing more'n junkies, chasing the next fix.
His fingertips drum on his thigh as he taps out a little tune, one that's almost familiar before he sighs.
LEX COLLINS: I never considered myself a celebrity, despite how my reputation precedes me – used to get really pissed off when they tossed that word around in my presence 'cause I thought they should know better. I wasn't here for that – not at first. I just wanted to get hit. Wanted to scratch that twisted up masochistic itch in the back of my brain. I get antsy if I don't let it out. If I go too long removed from the violence and I thought I made that perfectly clear from the first moment I stepped foot in a ring – I was a real one, the scrappiest dog to ever be under. Never a liar. Never a fake. Was just this guy who knew a bit about how to wrestle, how to throw a punch that'd end a fight when the timing was right and maybe that's why it happened – they embraced me. They could relate to the story without alienation.
He shrugs.
LEX COLLINS: I got older. Wiser. Had a couple kids and while I liked spending time with my family, elbow-deep in the guts of that old Judge that I'm someday gonna finish rebuilding, every day grew harder to watch the dream get a little more dead and gone with every dawn. I've always been an Outsider, deep down. And as much as I know you wanna make it to that final against Cartier or Samuels, you won't. I'm gonna burn it all down – fuck the past. Fuck all the lies I told to myself – I deserve those accolades. Pies as the underdog paid in full which means this victory belongs to me. Like Ponyboy, you just worry about staying golden, Lexie – hold on to that shine as long as you can. If you can.

Bianca Reed vs. Hannah Hartman
The bell rang to a chorus of boos to Bianca which she took in welcomingly. Hannah came in arms up looking for a fight but Reed was able to bob and weave her strike attempts before booting Hannah in the chest giving her the room to come in with a spinning wheel kick. Hannah was all heart in this one. Knowing that she doesn’t have the experience that Bianca has she relied on her brawling which was giving Reed trouble. Bianca was unable to string together a series of moves because Hannah would catch her with a hard strike that would rock her. Hannah thought she had her when she connected with her “Frost Warning” (spinebuster) but Reed kicked out of the pin attempt. From there Bianca kicked it into 5th gear. Hannah was mostly able to keep up with her speed but it was her fluidity that was giving her trouble. This was ever apparent when Bianca landed “Get Spiked” (Backslide driver). From there Bianca waited for her moment and connected with “Cracker Jacker” (Diving corkscrew stunner) to get the win.
Winner: Bianca Reed

We see a dark figure in a billowy black leather coat stooped over a trunk in a dimly lit boiler room. The obtrusive light from a camera catches slightly shaky hands working at a rusty lock. The head turns toward the light source, on their head a black tricorne hat bedazzled with silver looped trim. One eye covered by a patch.
ALEKS PARKER: Oh excuse me, I was looking for… oh um…. Salem, is that you?
Salem cackled and threw her hand up with a flourish. Lots of garish rings on her fingers. The poofy lace at her wrist flapped around; apparently she DID want to wear the puffy shirt. She stood and cocked one boot atop the trunk.
SALEM CARTIER: Aye, avast ye Lady Parker. 'Tis I, the Scoundrel of the Six-Hundred and Sixty-Six Spooky Seas.
ALEKS PARKER: …right. So, are you ready for tonight's semifinal match in the tournament against the former champion…
Salem cut her off.
SALEM CARTIER: This Sea Witch Hag was born ready, on a dark and stormy night. Oh the sea was restless that night. It speaks to me even now. It demands penance and retribution. Brendan Samuels… the Navigator, the Kraken, the Wrestling. The FORMER champion around these here parts much like you say. Spirit and Pride is a ship without a captain, the way I see it. And the best way to stake that claim is to make the former captain walk the plank, as it were. I've had my eye on you from the start, Brendan …
She winked at the camera and then flipped up the eyepatch revealing her other eye, which had the purple chaos symbol painted on it.
SALEM CARTIER: My good eye and my EVIL EYE. The yin and the yang, the alpha and omega, the Simon and the Garfunkel! I will be the bridge over troubled water. You've carried this championship in the past like a baby across the river when it needed you most. That was your cross to bear then, and now you and St. Christopher can go sailing to your heart's content. See, it's not far down to paradise, at least it's not for me. When the wind is right I will find tranquility. Oh, the canvas can do miracles. Just you wait and see… believe me.
ALEKS PARKER: So you're that confident that you'll beat him?
Salem laughed and whipped her hat off her head in a flourish.
SALEM CARTIER: Confidence is key, and if that don't work…
She raised her foot and smashed it into the lock, breaking it and knocking the trunk over. The gold and trinkets spilled onto the floor.
SALEM CARTIER: …you put the boots to 'em 'til another achievement is unlocked. Brendan, I'm going to be the new Captain, the one with a big booty and a smile. The Blackheart. The Phenomena. 'Tis the season…
The camera goes dark.

Keystone Cup Semi Final Match
Lex Collins vs. Lexie
The crowd was hot at this point knowing that whoever won this was on to the finals. The contrast here couldn’t be any brighter as it was the two year pro taking on the twenty year pro. The match started heavy in Lex’s favor as he used his hands to his advantage and then sent Lexie into the corner hard. She looked like she was on dream street so Lex came in hot looking for “Systematic Breakdown 2.0” (charging high knee strike in the corner to a running bulldog) but Lexie then came right out of the corner as Lex was about to go for the high knee and got him with a dropkick right to the knee sending Lex down hard. Lexie quickly pulled him up and landed a spinning neckbreaker. From there she went on the offensive but Lex was able to work himself back in until he went for another big strike but Lexie caught it and got him with a double knee arm breaker. Lex now found himself in a rough spot with a beat up arm and leg but the vet wasn’t backing down with what was on the line. He elbowed his way out of a t-bone suplex attempt and tossed Lexie to the outside. He took a moment to think about it but left caution to the wind as he darted across the ring and went for a suicide dive. The negative part here is that Lexie was up and saw it coming and perfectly timed eat defeat as Lex was coming through the middle rope. Lex was stunned and Lexie rolled back into the ring. The ref began the count and the crowd was surrounding Lex begging him to get back up. It looked like Lexie was gonna get the count out win but Lex was able to roll in right before the ref called for the bell. As Lex went to get up Lexie caught him with another dropkick to the knee that sent him flipping over into a seated position. Lexie went for her “Dream Kick” (Roundhouse Kick to seated opponent's back of the head) but Lex was able to lay back and duck it. From there Lexie waited looking to go for the “O’Hagan Crusha” (RKO) but Lex shoved her off. Lexie turned around and was met with “Bricks” (hard right hook) and she dropped to the mat with Lex dropping right on her to get the three count.
Winner: Lex Collins

Keystone Cup Semi Final Match
Brendan Samuels vs. Salem Cartier
The crowd was going nuts as two of the favorites of SAP were now waiting in the ring to see who would move on to the finals and have their chance to become National champion. The bell rang and the two came out slow. The size difference was incredibly apparent but both knew that wasn’t going to matter as both were some of the most skilled wrestlers going today. The match started slow with both competitors going through a feeling out process of trying to see where this was going. Brendan would be the first one to make a significant move as he whipped Salem into the ropes hard looking for an axe bomber but Cartier grabbed his arm and swung herself up to lock in a Koji clutch. Samuels began to swing around trying to break free but Salem wouldn’t let go. Finally he got a running start and dove into the corner hard slamming Salem making her release the hold. The landing was hard for Salem and Brendan took this time to put the pressure on her. Salem however was ever the optimist and waited for her moment, when Brendan whipped her into the ropes again she jumped up and came back with a springboard plancha that took the weary wayfarer down. She then quickly transitioned and began throwing a number of knee strikes to the head of Brendan like this was PRIDE in 03. Brendan was able to get his arms around his head and slid backwards to get out of the ring and away from Salem. Samuels took a breath and then rolled right back into Salem coming right at him with a kick. He grabbed the leg and swept the other, sending her to the mat. He then threw the other leg back with enough force to roll Salem back to a seated position where she ate a big knee. Salem was dazed and Brendan grabbed her and went for his “Immram Buster” (slingshot brainbuster). Out of pure instinct Salem was able to slide off. She then pushed Brendan into the ropes and went for an Ipponzeoi but didn’t get it clean and they both landed hard on their head/neck area with Brendan mostly landing on Salem. The referee went down to check on Salem to make sure if she was alright after all the weight that came down on her. Brendan was woozy but used the ropes to pull himself up and then leaned on them. Then from out of nowhere Bianca Reed jumped up on the apron with a pair of brass knuckles on her hand and clocked Samuels right in the head. He dropped to his knees and then fell forward. Reed then hightailed it through the crowd as Salem was starting to get up and the referee backed away from her. She looked up to see a groggy Samuels which she assumed was from him landing as hard as she did. As Samuels pushed himself back up to his knees Salem leapt up and caught him flush with the “New Hampshire Handshake”. Samuels went down hard and she rolled him over to get the three count and the win to a mixed reaction.
Winner: Salem Cartier
